Selected for public subsidy(24.08.09)

Although our company is small, we own many IPs, and the majority of our business is exporting to foreign countries, so our activities are in line with national policy.
Therefore, in recent years, we have been selected for many government subsidy projects.
(We have participated in four public projects in the past two years.)

 As a result, technological development has progressed at an increasingly accelerated pace, new IP has increased, and projects have been born that will lead to further development of our company in the near future.

These will ultimately lead to benefits for all of our customers.



Regarding the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake(24.01.12)

We pray for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, whose epicenter was in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, and we extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected.

"SMP iFit®" related patent has been recognized as patented by the EU Patent Office(23.07.28)

Our patent "Silicone compound and its cured product" was recognized as patentable by the EU Patent Office on March 15, 2023.

Registration procedures are currently underway in EU countries.



Two projects funded Government are adopted(23.06.05)

This time, our proposal was adopted for the IP landscape support project commissioned by the Japan Patent Office and National center for Industrial Property Information and Training (INPIT).

In addition, we have been selected for the overseas expansion support project by experts of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) "Consortium for New Export Countries".

The former is to clarify the strengths and weaknesses of the patents and registered trademarks owned by our company compared to other companies.

In addition, the latter will receive support from experts when exporting technologies and products that utilize these patents and registered trademarks.

This is the result of the official recognition of our company, SMP Technologiess policy of developing unique and differentiated technology, and we will strive to commercialize it with this support.



Water-based polyurethane (WPU), method for producing WPU, and clothing, leather products using WPU(23.02.07)

It was recently registered as a Japanese patent. This product has already been used for wigs and various lingerie under the trademark SMP Dilatant-W, and it is expected that this will lead to further expansion of its applications.

"SMP Dilatant" has been registered. In the future, in addition to SMP Dilatant-F, we will add Dilatancy to various forms of SMP materials and strive to spread and popularize this trademark as a series.



"SMP Dilatant-F" has registered as a trademark(22.05.30)

Trademarks have been named with the belief that they should be a better representation of their properties. This case is also a trademark of SMP Foam, which has "Dilatant, Dilatancy (characteristic that rigidity increases as the frequency increases)". It will be applied in order to each form, such as Yarn, Ink etc, of SMP material with this unique Dilatant property.

his technologies and material was registered as the "SMP iFit" trademark (2018.08.06), granted by the US Patent No. : US 10,954,386 (2021.02.26).
